5. Why don’t you use spraycans anymore in your recent work?

I guess I used spray cans in the beginning because that's what you see. Right? If you paint on wall, you use spray cans and I must admit I don't have a lot of can-control. I did practice and it improved a lot, but still I never felt that I could fully express what I had in my head through a spray can.

I started by doing my fill ins with spray, but then doing my outlines with brushes and black paints instead of the other way around. And that kind of emulated way more the way I was used to drawing. Like when you’re doodling and you make these small sketches, it may look like some this stupid small drawings, but it has a sort of essence or movement to it and that’s what I like you .

Brushes give me that same feeling but on a wall, because it's not so clean. If you paint with brushes and your paint runs out, this creates these incomplete and imperfect imperfect lines. Just like drawing on a paper with a marker or with a pencil. So pretty soon, I discovered that my work stood out more when I did it like that. And then slowly, I also started doing my fillings with roller paint and rollers and just found that It was a lot more fun doing that than using spraycans. I'll still use spray from time to time, and I pride myself in being able to make something in whatever situation. So if I go somewhere, but they only have cans, I'll still be able to make something.

So if I have the chance, I will use roller paints 9 times out of 10. But I don’t want to be limited to available materials, Give me a rundown stick and I'll draw something on a wall. It’s all about the intention, the materials are kinda secondary to me.
